Higher ed’s prejudice problem

By Glenn Harlan Reynolds for USA Today.

Higher education has a problem with prejudice. It’s not the usual racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and xenophobia that colleges are always denouncing. It’s prejudice — sometimes expressed in an ugly and open fashion — against Republicans, conservatives and libertarians. And people are starting to notice.

Fake News Still Lyin’ About the Tea Party

By Lloyd Marcus for American Thinker.

Harriet Baldwin posted on Facebook: “Pisses me off when the alt-left media likens these paid Obama/Soros/Alinsky violent protesters to the Tea Party.”

To Harriet, I say, “Amen sister!”

Folks, I am a black singer/songwriter who has been in the Tea Party from the beginning. In 2008, Our Country Deserves Better PAC invited me on their “Stop Obama” national bus tour. In 2009, I wrote the “American Tea Party Anthem” which I performed at Tea Party rallies on 14 national bus tours with Tea Party Express and others.

If You Think the BLM and Daniel P. Love were Bad at Bundy Ranch, Look at what They did to this Man over Indian Artifacts

By Tim Brown for the Washington Standard.

In March of 2016, I reported on the Bureau of Land Management and the leader of the BLM at Bundy Ranch, Daniel P. Love, in a case from 2009 involving Indian artifacts he discovered and the wrongful death of Dr. James Redd.  Since that time, I have been in touch with the Redd family, who provided the following information.  I have asked that person to compile information pertaining to what took place with Dr. Redd.  The following bullet points, videos and information are what I obtained.  You can download this file here that are the “attachments” mentioned in the article below.

This article by the LA Times gives a good overview of what happened to Dr. James Redd at the hands of the BLM and FBI.

These Senators Opposed Vouchers Backer Betsy DeVos But Send THEIR Kids To Fancypants Private Schools

By Eric Owens for the Daily Caller.

At least seven of the 46 Senate Democrats who voted against Betsy DeVos, President Donald Trump’s newly-minted education secretary, currently send or once sent their own children or grandchildren to expensive private schools.

DeVos, a long-time school choice advocate from Michigan, was the architect of Detroit’s school charter system and formerly led the Alliance for School Choice advocacy group. She headed the American Federation for Children — which backs school choice for poor and underprivileged families — when Trump nominated her.

Schoolteachers fired for pro-Trump remarks

Even comments made off campus are now grounds for termination.

By Leo Hohmann for World Net Daily.

Employees of a Georgia school district known for its diversity of refugees and migrants – legal and illegal – are being told not to express themselves on or off campus if their views on immigration line up with those of President Donald Trump.

If their words are considered not “welcoming” of refugees and migrants, they will face investigation and possible termination.

DeKalb County Schools Superintendent Stephen Green issued the statement after Trump’s executive orders banning travel temporarily from seven Muslim countries. In it, Green delivered a stern warning to teachers and staff: Any comments made inside or outside the classroom must line up with the school district’s commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.

Quiet Victory for Elites Accelerates Cashless Agenda

From Birch Gold Group

World leaders and economists are pushing harder than ever toward a cashless society. With anti-cash measures already being tested in Europe and the Third World, it’s only a matter of time until the global elite push for the same in the U.S. Will globalists’ dream of a cashless society soon become reality?

Plotting in Switzerland

Last month, members of the World Economic Forum, more commonly known as the Davos Elite, met for their annual gathering in Switzerland, and the pursuit of a global cashless society was a major topic on their agenda.

Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, a key member and figurehead for the group, made several statements indicating their intensifying push to eliminate cash. And another major economist from the group, Kenneth Rogoff, echoed similar sentiments.

Georgetown Professor Condones Rape And Slavery Under Sharia

No flap has ensued at Georgetown University after one of its professors declared, ‘It’s not immoral for one human to own another human.’

By Meira Svirsky for the Clarion Project.

A Georgetown professor of Islamic studies sent shockwaves through the academic and secular world for a lecture he gave essentially condoning Islamic slavery and nonconsensual sex (that’s academic for “rape”).

That would have been the opening sentence to comment on such a lecture if we lived in normal times – which we don’t. The lecture in question actually created very little stir – neither at the university where he is employed nor elsewhere save for some very astute blogs (see here and here) deconstructing the professor’s astonishing breadth of obfuscation.

In a lecture (see below) at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (a Muslim-Brotherhood-linked group) and in subsequent questions and answers following his talk, Georgetown Islamic Studies professor Jonathan Brown, a convert to Islam, declares:

“It’s not immoral for one human to own another human.”
